Insider Activity

What is Insider Sells (12M)?

How many open-market sales insiders reported in the last twelve months.

How it is calculated

Count of Form 4 transactions with code S, non-derivative and priced, in the last 365 days.

How to read it

Compare with the buy count. Companies where every insider transaction for a year is a sale deserve a question about why.

Keep in mind

Each transaction line on a Form 4 counts once, so one order filled at several prices can count more than once.

Where the numbers come from

Scrutar computes Insider Sells (12M) from the Form 4 reports insiders file with the SEC, using the transaction code, share count and price on each line.
