ResMed's customers span patients, physicians (including pulmonologists, sleep medicine specialists, primary care physicians, cardiologists, and neurologists), durable/home medical equipment providers, hospitals, and long-term and residential care providers, and the company markets its products in more than 140 countries through wholly owned subsidiaries and independent distributors, employing more than 10,600 people worldwide; its stock trades on the NYSE under "RMD" with a secondary listing via CHESS Depositary Instruments on the Australian Securities Exchange.
