What is SBC / Revenue?

Stock compensation as a share of sales, a measure of how much of the business is being paid to employees in shares.

How it is calculated

Stock-based compensation divided by revenue.

How to read it

Above 10% is high and common in young tech companies. Free cash flow does not deduct it, so subtract it mentally.
